A Principal at Akman-Ziff, having arranged in excess of $10.0 billion in debt, mezzanine and joint venture equity financing since his arrival in 2000. Patrick has twice lead deal teams that have earned the Real Estate Board of New York’s Most Ingenious Deal of the Year award. Additionally, in March of 2004, Patrick was awarded the Real Estate Board of New York’s Most Promising Salesperson of the Year Award.
Prior to joining the firm, Patrick was the vice president of a family of three publicly held real estate investment trusts where his responsibilities included the acquisition, improvement and asset management of a portfolio of mobile home park and affiliated assets. While there he also co-created a finance and direct lending company and serviced its loan portfolio.
Patrick holds an M.S. in Real Estate Investment from New York University and a B.A. in business from the University of Notre Dame. Patrick also served as an adjunct professor at New York University, where he also taught a popular course in real estate investment analysis from the perspective of an Investor owner for more than 3 years.
